Applejacks Liquors is a locally owned liquor store located in downtown Denton, just East of the square. We offer an outstanding selection of spirits, wine, and beer. We are proud to be a part of the Denton community, and to support other local businesses!
Our spirit selection boasts an unbelievable array of Single Malt Scotch, Irish Whisky, Rye Whiskey, Small Batch Bourbon, top shelf Tequila, Exquisite Rum, Fine Gin, Vodka, and Specialty Liqueurs that will make any occasion special and memorable. We have a special emphasis on Texas Spirits, offering 70 different Texas spirit selections.
Our Beer selection is second to none. We offer a wide variety of Domestic, Import, Specialty, Craft Beers, and Keg Beer from all over the world.
Our wine selection is vast. We offer over 150 different Cabernet Sauvignons alone. We have fine selections from California, Oregon, Washington, and of course Texas. Additionally we have wines from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Our greatest asset is our customer service. We want every visit to Applejacks to be a pleasurable experience. We offer many non-alcoholic products, specialty items, as well as custom made gift baskets.

Welcome to Applejacks Liquors. My name is Kevin Sanders. I am the Owner/GM of Applejacks. I am super excited to be back in the Denton market. We are jazzed to be a part of the community, and look forward to rekindling past relationships, as well as establishing new ones. I previously worked for White Rose Liquor Distributing Company in Fort Worth from 1983-1989, and Julius Schepps Liquor Distributing Company from 1989 – 1997. I was the Owner/GM at Paradise Liquors in Corral City from 1997-2015.
Denton is a great city, with even better people. Applejacks is THE locally owned liquor store, providing a great selection, at competitive pricing, and unparalleled service. James "Eddie" Draper
Hi, I am James “Eddie” Draper. I was born and raised in Sanger, Texas. I graduated from UNT in 1971 with a degree in marketing. While attending UNT, I worked at Lincoln Park (The first wet spot for alcohol in Denton County). I fell in love with the beverage business. Since then, I have owned and operated a number of liquor stores throughout North Texas. Corral City, Fort Worth, Arlington, and Greenville Texas were our flagship stores. I so love being back in Denton County and close to “All my rowdy friends”. Come see us at the new “Applejacks Liquors” in downtown Denton. I promise you will feel welcome.

My name is Tim Gamblin. I have been in the retail business for 19 years as a Manager for Paradise Foods. I have been married for 11 years. We have 5 kids, and 4 grandkids. I love hunting and fishing. I am so excited to be a part of Applejacks Liquors as an owner and Manager. We look forward to giving Denton the best customer service that is possible.
